Home The place where I go Home It feels so overwhelming Oh no This is not home I'm Fighting to stay afloat This is not The place I once loved It's so hard To feel at home When it's overturned Please just turn around Get the fuck out Of our town Ruining my favorite hang Ruining This is not This is not The place I once loved It's so hard To feel at home When it's overturned Overturned Overturned And it’s so hard To feel at home When it’s overturned This is not This is not How i feel At home

Earth 06:50
Where were all your heros It's not the same as yesterday I've felt this before It doesn't feel like any of this Where is all the time It’s not the same as yesterday And I've seen so many signs It's not the same as any of this But this is exactly how it's supposed to feel With all this life And I thought I told you That this is me and who I am And where I stand Where were all your heros It's not the same as yesterday And I've seen so many signs It's not the same as any of this But this is exactly how it's supposed to feel With all this life And I thought I told you That this is me and who I am And where I stand Where were all your heros Or should I say zeros I've been so alive It's not the same as any of this You are the only You are the earth We are the only We are the earth We are the earth Woo! Always growing From who I was yesterday We are who we are Who we are We are the world We are the world

about

Combining the sonic portals of 90's shoegaze with a unique blend of experimental/alternative rock, the lyrics echo the experiences of singer and chef Zach Berger’s journey of self-discovery through the Andes Mountains of Peru. New members John Bryan, Ryan Driver and Michael LaPick help expand and elevate the band’s sound to new heights of songwriting, sonic experimentation, and sheer volume.

"I try to approach songwriting by going backward from the idea that I have of the finished song, by deconstructing that idea into smaller and smaller parts, and then seeing what works and what doesn't.” explains longtime Manu guitarist/songwriter Bryan Caprari. "Thematically, the music touches on a wide range, from isolation and the feeling of disconnect (something most of us are all too familiar with these days) to being trapped within one's own thoughts, running from something you can't quite put your finger on, as well as the changes within our immediate environments and globally."
